˽ÃÜÊÓƵ Student Emergency Assistance Program

˽ÃÜÊÓƵ students facing a financial crisis may be eligible for assistance through the ˽ÃÜÊÓƵ Emergency Assistance Program (DEAP).

Students must first demonstrate that they have exhausted all other resources (credit card, payment plans, additional student aid, assistance from family/friends, other personal resources). The value of the assistance is based on a student's specific needs, but typically does not exceed $500. DEAP is not intended to provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses and is subject to availability of funds and extent of need.

Under DEAP, students could be given funds in two ways: grants or advance charging capabilities through their student account. Each student's emergency and financial situation will be taken into consideration when deciding if and which type of assistance can be provided. Emergency grants do not need to be repaid; however, they will be subject to federal taxes. Advanced charging capabilities through a student’s account do need to be repaid as the student pays their ˽ÃÜÊÓƵ bill.

The Office of Student Affairs and the CARE Team is ready to support your overall ˽ÃÜÊÓƵ experience, please consider completing a or visit our Wellness Resource Page for additional resources.
